Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated Business Developer to support our local office. In this role, you will work within a defined territory to build relationships with local businesses and provide customized hiring and workforce solutions. This is a sales-focused position ideal for someone who enjoys networking, problem-solving, and driving results.
Essential Functions
Build and maintain relationships with local businesses to understand their hiring and workforce needs
Educate clients on Express Employment’s staffing, leadership, and human resources solutions
Research and prospect new business opportunities within the assigned territory
Manage and grow an existing book of business
Interact directly with clients throughout all phases of the sales process
Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily sales activities
Negotiate pricing and prepare service agreements
Consistently meet or exceed sales and activity goals
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: Base salary plus commission- Estimated annual earnings: $35,000–$55,000 , depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Driven, goal-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently and manage a territory
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous sales or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
