Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Projected Start: November 2, 2026 | Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed Main PACU unit at a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
• Monitor and recover patients following a wide range of surgical procedures including endoscopy, hernia repairs, myomectomy, hysterectomy, nephrectomy, joint repair/replacements, lumbar fusions, and general surgeries
• Collaborate with a day shift team consisting of a charge nurse and staff nurses to ensure safe, efficient patient throughput
• Float to Pre-Op as needed to support unit operations
• Participate in on-call rotation — approximately once per night every two weeks
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Texas (or compact eligibility)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with trauma patients in a post-anesthesia care setting
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Experience floating between PACU and Pre-Op environments
