With 32 years at State Farm and 23 in agency, I lead a dedicated team of nineseven in DeMotte and two in Rensselaer. We offer paid vacation, retirement plan participation after the first year, and a $200 monthly health insurance premium reimbursement for eligible team members. My journey began as a claims representative in 1993, later managing complex injury claims and lawsuits before becoming an agent in 2001. In 2023, I expanded to a second agency in Rensselaer. Our DeMotte office has grown into one of the largest in Indiana by focusing on what matters mosthelping one client at a time with personalized protection and exceptional service. Role Description
Dave Long - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Compensation: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
