Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Danville, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing top-quality care to patients of all ages in a 24-bed unit. The role requires a strong ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care and support for individuals with various medical conditions.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1 or more years of experience in Med/Surg nursing preferred.
