• Proficient CT and general radiologic skills
• Enjoys working independently
• Excellent patient care skills

Description:

The department consists of 1 CT scanner and 1 X-ray scanner. A general radiologic technologist will help cover Monday to Friday day shifts. PM and night shifts will operate solo. Common imaging studies performed include hospital ER and outpatient CT. Only ER x-ray studies are conducted; no surgeries are performed. IV starts are required for this position. The EMR system used is Cerner, and the PACS system is Spectra. The department uses Siemens equipment. A radiologist is not in-house 24/7; studies are read remotely. There are set schedules for shifts, with weekend and holiday requirements based on postings. Scrubs of any solid color that are clean and professional are required. All clinicians must clock in and out while working.
