Travel Radiology Tech START Date: ASAP Location: Tucson, Arizona Position: CHS Travel: Echocardiology Technician / Radiology (898839) Position Overview: The Echo traveler for NMC must be proficient in the following procedures: Adult 2D echo with contrast agent bubble study Post cardiac cath Post surgical echo Assessment of pericardial effusion Pericardiocentesis imaging Calculating LV and RV strain Diastology with TDI PISA calculations Biplane measurements for EF Treadmill stress echo: setup, resting and stress imaging Dobutamine stress echo: setup, resting and stress imaging Transesophageal Echo (TEE): setup, image acquisition, physician assistance The Radiology Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The technologist maintains a state license as a general radiographer and provides timely diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients under the supervision of a Radiologist, following departmental protocols. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, OR imaging services, and routine procedures.
