Conserva Irrigation Tallahassee is looking for a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Irrigation Technician to join our team!

The ideal candidate has experience in irrigation installation, service, or repair and takes pride in quality workmanship, excellent customer service, and getting the job done right.

As an Irrigation Technician, you will work with residential and commercial customers to service and repair irrigation systems, perform system audits, support installations, and educate homeowners about irrigation solutions. You will work independently and as part of a team while building positive relationships with our customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with homeowners and clients to inform and educate them about irrigation system enhancements, repairs, and services.
• Review and confirm the scope of work with the customer, explain estimated completion times, and identify opportunities for additional services or products.
• Work independently or as part of a team to provide service and repairs to residential and commercial irrigation systems.
• Perform irrigation system audits and prepare estimates when applicable.
• Oversee and manage subcontractors during residential and commercial installations.
• Anticipate potential problems and communicate issues and corrective actions to homeowners and clients.
• Maintain positive professional relationships with customers and team members.
• Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate accountability and commitment to completing the scope of work.
• Provide customers with system orientations and explain proper irrigation system operation when applicable.
• Clean up all areas affected by installations and repairs.
• Maintain company tools and equipment used on job sites.
• Ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained to service customers.
• Operate company vehicles safely and maintain a clean and orderly vehicle.
• Notify management of vehicle accidents, malfunctions, or damages.
• Accurately complete work orders, service reports, and other required documentation.
• Follow company best practices, policies, and procedures.
• Promptly report team member injuries, homeowner or client disputes, property damage, and company equipment issues to the Franchise Owner.
• Participate in irrigation industry training and certification programs, including IA certification training.
• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and highway traffic laws.
• Receive and follow oral and written instructions from the Franchise Owner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must successfully pass an irrigation knowledge and skills test.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including possible evenings and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in irrigation installation, irrigation service, or a related service industry.
• Computer proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Computer and tablet skills required for the company appointment scheduling program.
• Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check, clean driving record verification, and other required pre-employment screenings.
• Ability to successfully pass an irrigation test.
• Ability to follow company policies, safety rules, and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling, and handling materials.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in awkward positions.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Work Schedule & Benefits

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Saturday Work: Possible Saturday work if workload requires.

Position: Full-time.

Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour.

Paid Time Off: Full-time employees earn vacation time and sick time, subject to company policies.
