PTO is encouraged not only for vacations but mental health breaks. Discounts to eligible fitness centers for associates enrolled with Blue Cross. Preventative Care is covered at 100% (annual check-ups and screenings). Lactation rooms are available for new mothers at all 3 plant locations. Annual flu clinic at Romeoville and Rolling Meadows for our associates and any dependents covered on our health plan. Flu shots are covered by insurance if the associate elects to go elsewhere.

Responsibilities

1. Process and recycle plant scrap material in an efficient manner
2. Maintain the cleanliness of the scrap area
3. Ensure recyclable material is sorted appropriately and report non-compliance
4. Operate machinery in accordance with all safety regulations
5. Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and report any potential safety hazards to management
6. Responsible for ensuring work area is clean and organized per 6S standards
7. Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

1. Must be able to bend, lift, reach, and twist repetitively
2. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. through out the course of the day
3. Must have good physical stamina and ability to handle hot/cold weather
4. Must speak English fluently and read basic instructions in English.
5. Must be a motivated, self-starter with a sense of urgency
6. Able to work in a team setting as well as work independently
7. Must be flexible with start and end times and work overtime when required.
8. Must be 18 years or older.

*This is a Union Position and Pays $18.00/HR Eligible for Overtime pay after working 8 hours a day Monday-Friday and time and a half for all hours worked on Saturdays
