Lead Diagnostic Med Sonographer

Responsibilities Reporting to the Radiology Department Manager, this position provides health care services, applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment; performs ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in the following areas: in all disciplines including but not limited to OB/GYN, abdomen, neurosonology, vascular and/or small parts and demonstrates anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner; exercises professional judgment in performance of services and applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Eligibility Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a workplace accommodation. Education / Training / Experience 2 years’ experience in a hospital setting as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer preferred Previous lead or supervisor experience preferred Certifications / Licenses Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography in OB/GYN, Abdominal, Breast and/or Vascular required Current CPR certification required Current MAB test required within 6 months of hire if assigned to work in the Emergency Department #J-18808-Ljbffr
