Pharmacy Technician (Med History) Lead Certified Acute Care

Patient Care Support Essential Job Function Maintains pharmacy workflow; including but not limited to compounding hazardous and non-hazardous IV medications, distribution of medication in compliance with current standards or obtaining a complete and accurate medication history based on organization standard. Serves as a reference for other pharmacy technicians. Serves as a mentor in the training and orientation of new employees. Leads and implements process improvement and departmental quality initiatives. Communicates effectively with team members in and outside of pharmacy, providing quality customer service. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience Required: 7 years. Successful completion (graduation) of CH accredited technician training program is equivalent to 2 years of experience. Licensure/Certification/Listing Required: Certified Pharmacy Technician and must complete an 'advanced pharmacy technician certification' within 12 months of starting the role. Work Shift : Days/Weekend Rotation (United States of America) On Call Required Yes FTE : 1 Job Type : Full Time (40 Hours/Week) #J-18808-Ljbffr
