Exciting Opportunity for ICU RN Travelers!

Job Description:


- Position Type: ICU RN Traveler
- Shift: Mid 3x12-Hour (15:00 - 03:00)
- Floating: Yes, position will float between units
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, 6 weekend shifts per unit needs
- On-Call Requirement: No
- Block Schedules: No

Key Responsibilities:


- Provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment
- Manage patients post-CV surgery, trauma, and neurosurgery
- Monitor and care for patients with ventilators, chest tubes, and central venous lines
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:


- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
- Preferred experience in Trauma Level I or II
- Proven travel experience is necessary
- Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Skills:
- Management of ventilated patients
- Interpretation of lab results and arterial blood gases
- Proficient in charting with Epic system
- Comfort with diverse ICU equipment like ECMO and Impella
