Job Summary As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high‑quality care that positively impacts patients’ well‑being and recovery. You will provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans while collaborating seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team focused on optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Adhere to the department’s and hospital’s policies and procedures, including safety, risk management, and regulatory standards, staying abreast of trends and regulatory requirements within your scope of responsibility. Administer, oversee, and document medication administration (topical, oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intravenous) as ordered by the healthcare practitioner and in accordance with hospital policy. Assess patients, including physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental, and spiritual needs; gather relevant data; implement appropriate interventions; evaluate outcomes; plan care based on initial and ongoing assessments; provide holistic, comprehensive, and professional nursing care within scope of practice; prepare patients for discharge and coordinate post‑discharge needs. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and competence, using appropriate communication tools and materials, and understand how patient culture(s) affect communication, collaboration, and care provision. Demonstrate competent professional practice, engage in opportunities for professional growth, and maintain accountability to meet mandatory requirements. Document care delivered and patient status using the nursing process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and execution of physician orders. Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Experience as an Endoscopy RN or prior GI laboratory experience. New graduate with completion of a senior practicum in a specialty area (critical care, ED, PACU, or GI). Registered Nurse license in Washington State, upon hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification, upon hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing and at least one year of related work experience in an acute care setting, upon hire. Two years of experience within the past three years in an acute care setting (e.g., Med/Surg, ICU, PCU, PACU). Certified Gastroenterology RN, upon hire.
