Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Step Down Specialty: RN Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - 8 Hours of Stroke Training - Ability to work in a team setting Description: 24-bed telemetry unit with the capability of taking step down patients. Large rooms with private bathrooms and showers. Team Nursing approach utilized. Patient to nurse ratio is 3:1 in step down. Patient to nurse ratio is 5:1 during day shift. Patient to nurse ratio is 6:1 during night shift. Responsibilities include medication administration, assessments, and care plans. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
