We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join a growing and respected construction organization specializing in complex infrastructure and heavy civil bridge projects.Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze project plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate estimatesPlan, organize, and manage multiple bid opportunities and deadlines simultaneouslyCoordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and internal stakeholders throughout the estimating processSolicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotationsPrepare detailed cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and pricing analysesSupport successful project handoffs to operations teams following awardAssist with project budgets, cost tracking, change management, and monthly reporting activitiesMaintain accurate bid records, vendor databases, estimating files, and project documentationQualifications3+ years of estimating experience within heavy civil, bridge, concrete, transportation, marine, or infrastructure constructionStrong understanding of construction methods, plans, specifications, and contract documentsExperience preparing quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates.Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and relationship-building skills with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholdersProficiency with estimating and construction management software. xhyhwjd Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.Experience estimating projects involving:DOT EstimatingBridges and structuresTemporary works and specialty formworkPiling and shoring systemsTransportation infrastructureConcrete constructionHeavy civil construction projects
