Timberland - Retail Communications Coordinator Location Stratham, NH About the Role The Retail Communications Coordinator will support Timberland’s communication strategies by creating and distributing content that aligns with the brand’s mission and values. Reporting to the Director of Retail Operations, this role will enhance brand visibility and engagement in retail store settings. Responsibilities Develop and execute communication plans to support brand initiatives and campaigns. Create and manage content for internal communication channels, including Yoobic content, emails, intranet sites, presentations, and directives. Build partnerships and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment. Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal campaigns and strategies. Work cross‑functionally to maintain and optimize all retail calendars (Stores, brand Ops, VF Ops). Support Head of Stores and Sr. Manager of Store Operations with special projects. Contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing and suggesting refinements to communication processes. Prepare and present regular updates on communication activities and outcomes to operations and brand retail leaders. Process department expenses via Coupa. Build agendas for field leader & store calls and summarize meeting content for field leaders and store teams. Collect and collate field reports (customer surveys, store hours, store locator). Execute contests, recognition, and awards programs. Act as brand liaison for store supplies with VF partner and vendor. Qualifications Required foundational skills include: Ability to develop and execute communication strategies that increase brand awareness and engagement among internal audiences. Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with retail stores, field leaders, and cross‑functional partners. Ability to manage timelines and calendars to support effective retail operations. Ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging written and visual content. Precision and accuracy in all communication materials and messaging. Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability within teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred skills: Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Experience using tools to measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies. Smartsheet experience. Compensation Salary range: $62,400.00 USD – $78,000.00 USD annually. Incentive potential may include an annual incentive plan or sales incentive. Working Conditions Hybrid position based out of the Stratham, NH office with an expectation of onsite work three days per week.
