Staff Accountant - Dallas, TX (70k-80k + Bonus)

LHH is seeking a Staff Accountant for a highly active and well-established commercial real estate development firm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of month-end close processes, with exposure to commercial real estate, development, or property accounting strongly preferred. Job Responsibilities: Post and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for real estate investment and development entities Assist with monthly and annual close processes, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, capital accruals, and account analysis Maintain lease information within accounting systems and support rent collection and processing Prepare annual NNN reconciliations and respond to tenant inquiries Support 1099 preparation and filing Assist with construction draws and lender reporting requirements Record monthly debt service payments and reconcile loan activity Partner with leadership to prepare financial reports for investors, lenders, and external CPAs Complete ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 1–3 years of accounting experience Experience in commercial real estate, development, construction, or property accounting preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
