CRNA - REQUIREMENTS

• Have graduated with a Master's degree from an accredited program in nurse anesthesia education.
  • CAA: Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Anesthesia or a related field from an accredited program.
• Must be certified or recertified by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • CAA: Must be board-certified by the AANA and NCCAA.
• Shall be licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and possess a current, valid, unrestricted license in the state of Texas.
• Have at least one full year (12 months) of experience as a CRNA.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
