Overview
Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care in Lancaster, PA, United States. This travel assignment starts on 09/29/2026 for 13 weeks in an outpatient surgery center setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,466 to $2,596 per week with guaranteed hours of 24. Primary shift is 7:00am–3:30pm; part-time roster currently Tue/Wed/Thu or Wed–Fri with potential to stay after shift, and a 3x10s option may be considered for up to 30 hours per week. Program: Local Contract (Nursing) through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing outpatient procedures, with exposure to pediatric and adult ENT, podiatry, breast reconstruction, and GYN surgeries.
- Conduct preoperative assessments and assist with postoperative discharge planning; monitor patient condition and respond to changes as directed.
- Maintain sterile technique, prepare supplies and equipment, and support the surgical team during procedures.
- Educate patients and families on postoperative care, precautions, and follow-up instructions.
- Document care activities accurately and promptly; collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing colleagues to ensure patient safety and efficient care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards in the ambulatory setting.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania or a Compact state
- BSN degree required
- 2+ years of RN experience with pediatric and adult ENT, podiatry, breast reconstruction, and GYN procedures
- Ability to work in an ambulatory/outpatient surgical setting
- Availability for the specified shift pattern (7:00am–3:30pm) and the possibility of a 3x10s schedule; no weekends, holidays, or on-call required for this assignment
