At AIM,you’ll: Share your real-world aircraft maintenance experience with future technicians Enjoy more predictable schedules compared to field work Make a lasting impact on students entering the aviation industry Continue growing your own knowledge while developing others About the Role As an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor (A&P Mechanic Instructor), you will deliver FAA Part 147-aligned aviation maintenance curriculum and provide hands-on instruction to students preparing for careers as aircraft maintenance technicians (AMTs). This role is ideal for experienced A&P mechanics, aircraft mechanics, and aviation maintenance professionals who want to combine technical expertise with mentorship and training while delivering hands-on aviation maintenance instruction in classroom and active hangar environments. Schedule Options: Daytime Shift (2 Options) Option 1 : Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM and Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Evening Shift (Two Options): Option 1: Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Fridays flexible, as needed) Option 2 : Monday–Thursday: 1:30 PM – 11:30 PM Key Responsibilities Teach aircraft maintenance systems, procedures, and techniques in a hands-on environment Deliver FAA-aligned curriculum to prepare students for A&P certification Demonstrate practical skills used by A&P mechanics and aviation technicians Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress Support curriculum updates and collaborate with program leadership Help create a structured, engaging, and safety-focused learning environment Maintain classroom, lab equipment, and training materials.
