Medical Scribe - Eureka, CA

Overview Medical Scribes work alongside doctors to record patient visits in real time, documenting medical history, exams, test results, and prescriptions so doctors can focus on patient care. Responsibilities Document everything during patient visits with the doctor. Record patient history, examinations, and treatments. Use electronic health record (EHR) systems to enter data. Review and track lab and test results. Maintain HIPAA compliance and keep records secure. Keep patient charts up to date and accurate. Send and organize documents for doctor review. Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow‑ups. Help keep the clinic or department running smoothly. Schedule & Compensation Schedules are available for full‑time (3–4 shifts per week, typically 8‑hour shifts) and part‑time (2–3 shifts per week). Compensation ranges from $24.00 per hour depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum age 18 and authorized to work in the U.S. Proof of vaccinations (may be required). Typing speed of 40+ WPM. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Strong listening and communication skills. Flexible schedule availability. Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours a day.
