Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology

Registered Nurse – Acute Care

Full Time, 36 hours per week Rotational Day/Eve/Night shifts, including holidays

Contract Length: 22-26 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• New York State RN Licensure required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• 2 years of Med/Surg experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide direct nursing care and evaluate patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on aftercare and lifestyle changes for optimal health outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable healing environment while advocating for patient rights.
• Engage in quality improvement activities to enhance nursing practice and patient care.
• Foster collaboration and communication among team members to ensure effective care delivery.
