Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years PCU RN experience License: Active CA RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS; NIHSS preferred Must-Have: Must work Christmas or New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Experience in patient care units, medical-surgical and emergency departments for boarding patients. Active license must be submitted at the time of application. Description: Looking for a Registered Nurse specializing in Patient Care Units. This position requires working three 12-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend is mandatory. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Candidates must have current ACLS and BLS certifications. NIHSS certification is preferred. Floating to medical-surgical and emergency departments may be required. Previous charge nurse experience is beneficial. Candidates must be adaptable to a variety of patient care settings. Experience with telemetry monitoring and other critical care skills is essential. Patient ratios will be maintained at a maximum of four per nurse.
