Medical Assistant - Rheumatology Practice (Temp-to-Perm)

Temp-to-perm opportunity candidates must be seeking a long-term career position

Located within a Rheumatology practice in Phoenixville, PA

Candidates should be able to commute to the practice in 45 minutes or less

Interview format: In-person, onsite

Monday through Friday

Shift hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Candidates are asked to be flexible; core hours are between 7:45 AM and 5:00 PM

Specific schedule details will be discussed with candidates during the interview

Room patients and obtain vitals

Perform phlebotomy

Use EMR to alert providers that the patient is ready

Review past medical, surgical, family, and smoking history

Review allergies and medications

Front desk work and meeting patients

Schedule visits and manage clinical phone communication

Other responsibilities as assigned

2+ years working in a physician office setting

EPIC experience is a plus

4-hour EMR training on Friday from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (includes a 1-hour break)

HIPAA Module (15 minutes)

4-day EMR Scheduling Training after start date (Tuesday through Friday)

Compliance is due on the Wednesday before the start date

Candidates must be ready to begin the compliance process immediately upon accepting the award

Medicals and drug screens must be started within 72 hours of accepting the award

Candidates who do not start this requirement within 72 hours are at risk of the contract being cancelled
