The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in Telemetry or Med-Surg. Candidates must possess current BLS and ACLS certifications. This role will involve working with adult and geriatric patient populations. The unit primarily cares for a mix of acute and telemetry patients. Key responsibilities include the management and interpretation of dysrhythmias. The nurse will work on a self-scheduling basis with a patient ratio of 5 at night. Candidates must float to other units as necessary. The facility emphasizes interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Compliance requirements include various competency exams related to Med/Surg Telemetry. Travelers must not have any licensure issues to be considered for the position.
