About the Position

Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: September 25, 2026

Location: Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Highlights:

• Comprehensive Labor and Delivery experience including labor/induction patients, circulating role in OB-OR, and antepartum assignments
• Night shift schedule providing work-life balance with consistent 12-hour shifts
• EPIC Stork experience preferred but not required
• ECG rhythm recognition and Safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation
• Contract extension opportunities available for up to 18 months
• Comprehensive orientation program with specialized training modules

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months of permanent Labor and Delivery experience required
• Minimum 18 months of recent Labor and Delivery experience as home unit
• Active Ohio state nursing license or compact state license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE (all must be active and in hand at time of submission)
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director from the past 12 months (co-worker references will not be accepted)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessment during orientation
• BCI/FBI background check clearance (no open cases)
