The role involves monitoring fetal heart rates and maternal well-being. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential. Active participation in patient education is necessary. Attention to detail and strong assessment skills are required. The RN should be capable of responding swiftly to emergencies. Compassionate support for patients and families throughout the labor process is crucial. The candidate must adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
