Position Details Title: Project Designer (Multiple Positions) Location: Denver, CO Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week, M-F 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Salary: $135,762 - $145,000 per year, + discretionary bonus. Responsibilities Utilize knowledge of Programmable logic controllers (PLC) and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) for building and construction related projects. Create technical documentation, design, coordinate 3D models for complex architectural and structural projects, using CAD and Revit. Perform basic technical and project management duties under the supervision of a Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager. Identify project requirements and perform technical engineering design work. Develop automation system designs and provide solutions to technical problems per the client’s intent and scope of work. Follow quality management process and review deliverables before submitting to a QA/QC reviewer. Identify and report potential roadblocks that may inhibit the ability to maintain the project scope, schedule, and budget. Participate in professional community to build personal knowledge by attending meetings, seminars and conferences. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience. 5 years of experience with PLC, industrial controls or DDC; NEC, ISA, NIST accepted design and construction concepts, practices and procedures; analyzing and interpreting technical documents and specifications; using CAD and Revit; engineering design and consulting for tenant improvement projects, new construction buildings, central plant work, existing facility upgrades or related markets. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Additional Information Telecommuting permitted up to 5 days a week. Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10% of the time.
