Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech needed for a travel assignment in a hospital setting in Batesville, AR. Start date: 07/06/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,509–$2,711 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. This is a travel - temporary assignment in a hospital environment. On-site position with required echocardiography, vascular studies, and general ultrasound responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Perform high quality diagnostic ultrasound exams, including echocardiograms with Definity contrast, in accordance with physician orders.
- Complete studies efficiently, using downtime to assist others; ensure proper exam documentation and timely communication of results.
- Manage workload during high volume, coordinate with colleagues to expedite patient care, and verify pending exams and pertinent information.
- Assist physicians with radiology procedures as needed; participate in interdepartmental collaboration to support patient care.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, uphold infection control and cleaning policies, and ensure machines are clean between patients.
- Follow department policies on attendance, on-call requirements, dress code, and participation in required in-services and meetings.
- Work with current equipment (Philips CVX Epiq, Philips Ellite Epiq, Vasculab ABI) and adapt to department workflows; adhere to EMR processes.

Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of ultrasound experience (REQUIRED)
- Specialty: Echo and vascular experience (REQUIRED)
- Echocardiography: Ability to perform TTE, TEE, stress echo, and echocardiograms with Definity contrast (REQUIRED)
- Vascular studies: Venous reflux, venous Dopplers, carotid Doppler, arterial Doppler, ABI (REQUIRED)
- Procedures: Pericardiocentesis, thrombin injections, and vein mapping exams (REQUIRED)
- IV skills: Able to start own IV (REQUIRED)
- EMR: MediTech EMR experience (REQUIRED)
- Certification: Active ARDMS certification (REQUIRED)
- BLS: Active American Heart Association BLS certification (REQUIRED)
- Work authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States; not reviewing applicants within 90 miles of Batesville; applicants located 90–150 miles away may be reviewed but are subject to selection considerations
- Start date readiness: Available for a 13-week assignment starting 07/06/2026
