We are looking for a results-driven Amazon Marketplace Manager to help scale our growing Amazon business. This role is ideal for someone who has experience growing an Amazon business in a high-growth e-commerce environment, launching new products, and using data and AI to drive sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Position Summary \n

As the Amazon Marketplace Manager, you will own the day-to-day performance and ongoing growth of Sleepyhead’s Amazon business. You will manage marketplace operations, advertising, product listings, inventory coordination, promotions, and reporting while identifying opportunities to expand our catalog and improve profitability.

\n

You will play a key role in launching new products, scaling existing product lines, and developing strategies to increase revenue while maintaining healthy margins. This position requires a hands-on, analytical, and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and uses AI and emerging technologies to work smarter, solve problems, and uncover growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities Amazon Marketplace Management \n

\n
• Manage daily operations within Amazon Seller Central, ensuring account health, catalog accuracy, and strong marketplace performance.
\n
• Optimize product listings, images, A+ Content, pricing, variations, and product detail pages to improve search visibility and conversion rates.
\n
• Monitor account health, resolve suppressed listings and catalog issues, and ensure compliance with Amazon policies.
\n
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and listing optimization to improve organic rankings and sales.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and overall marketplace performance.
\n

\n

Amazon Advertising & Profitability \n

\n
• Manage and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.
\n
• Analyze campaign performance and optimize budgets, bids, targeting, and keywords to improve ACOS, TACoS, ROAS, and profitability.
\n
• Manage Amazon sales performance and contribute to marketplace P&L ownership, monitoring revenue, margins, advertising spend, and overall business performance.
\n
• Develop sales forecasts, monitor KPIs, and prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
\n
• Use data and AI-powered tools to identify trends, improve forecasting, and uncover opportunities to increase sales while controlling costs.
\n

New Product Launches & Catalog Growth \n

\n
• Lead Amazon launch strategies for new products and SKUs, including listing development, keyword research, advertising, promotions, and ongoing optimization.
\n
• Develop strategies to establish new products, build sales momentum, and scale successful launches.
\n
• Identify opportunities to expand the product catalog, grow existing product lines, and improve performance across the assortment.
\n
• Monitor new product performance and use sales data, customer feedback, and competitive insights to refine launch strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to coordinate product launches, inventory readiness, content, and advertising.
\n
• Evaluate opportunities to leverage Amazon Live, Amazon DSP, and other emerging Amazon programs.
\n

Inventory & Operations \n

\n
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain to maintain healthy stock levels and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
\n
• Oversee FBA inventory planning, replenishment, and inventory performance.
\n
• Manage shipping templates and FBM locations.
\n
• Resolve inventory discrepancies, stranded inventory, fulfillment issues, and other operational challenges.
\n
• Coordinate inventory planning around promotions, seasonal demand, and new product launches.
\n

AI, Automation & Continuous Improvement \n

\n
• Use AI tools and emerging technologies to improve Amazon operations, competitive research, keyword analysis, listing optimization, reporting, and decision-making.
\n
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
\n
• Leverage AI to support product research, launch planning, data analysis, forecasting, and performance optimization.
\n
• Evaluate AI-generated insights for accuracy and business impact, turning useful findings into actionable improvements.
\n
• Stay current on Amazon platform updates, AI capabilities, and e-commerce trends to identify new opportunities for growth and competitive advantage.
\n

Cross-Functional Collaboration \n

\n
• Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Customer Support, and Supply Chain to align Amazon strategy with broader business goals.
\n
• Coordinate promotions, product launches, inventory planning, and marketing initiatives across channels.
\n
• Collaborate with the broader e-commerce team to maintain consistent product positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies across Amazon, Shopify, and other relevant sales channels.
\n
• Monitor customer feedback, returns, and account performance metrics, partnering with Customer Support to resolve recurring issues.
\n
• Develop processes and reporting workflows that support continued growth and operational efficiency.
\n

Qualifications \n

\n
• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Seller Central accounts for an e-commerce, consumer products, or direct-to-consumer brand.
\n
• Experience working in a high-growth e-commerce environment with evolving priorities, expanding product lines, and ambitious sales targets.
\n
• Demonstrated experience launching new products on Amazon and growing sales across an expanding product catalog.
\n
• Strong knowledge of Amazon PPC, Seller Central, FBA, Amazon SEO, keyword research, and listing optimization.
\n
• Experience analyzing sales, advertising performance, margins, and profitability to make data-driven decisions.
\n
• Practical experience using AI tools to improve research, productivity, content optimization, data analysis, or workflow automation.
\n
• Ability to translate data and AI-generated insights into actionable strategies that improve business results.
\n
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Ability to work in person at our Old Town Scottsdale office.

Preferred Qualifications \n

• Experience with Amazon Advertising Console and advanced PPC campaign management.
\n
• Familiarity with Amazon analytics and research tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or Data Dive.
\n
• Experience with Amazon P&L management, sales forecasting, and profitability analysis.
\n
• Familiarity with Shopify and omnichannel e-commerce operations.
\n
• Experience with Amazon DSP, Amazon Live, or other emerging Amazon programs.

• Experience scaling a consumer product brand through new product launches and catalog expansion.
\n
• Experience using AI-powered tools for e-commerce analysis, reporting, research, and workflow automation.
