About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable, efficient Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment, takes pride in their work, and consistently delivers high‐quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with prep work such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner during service
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Monitor food quality and presentation before dishes leave the kitchen
- Properly store food items and rotate stock to maintain freshness
- Help with closing duties, including cleaning equipment and surfaces
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred, but willing to train the right person
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
