HR Manager

Brunel Energy is recruiting an HR Manager to work with a major oil and gas company on a 1-year contract in New York, NY. Responsibilities: Support a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment and staffing, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and HR policies and processes. Support employees with benefits, 401(k) plans, FMLA, FLSA, and other HR-related programs and requirements. Partner closely with senior leadership and executives, providing professional HR guidance and handling sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgment. Manage internal HR communications and relationships, adapting communication style to effectively work with senior-level stakeholders. Serve as a trusted, solution-oriented HR resource while anticipating needs and proactively addressing issues. Support additional HR initiatives and tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to step in where needed. Qualifications: 5–10 years of HR experience, ideally with broad HR generalist experience across multiple HR functions. Oil & gas experience is a plus. Strong working knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, benefits, 401(k) plans, FMLA, FLSA, and employee relations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience interacting with executive and senior-level leadership. Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to navigate sensitive workplace situations effectively. Highly detail-oriented, proactive, solution-oriented, and able to anticipate needs. Willingness to take on varied responsibilities and support the broader HR function as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
