Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Hospital: JFK Medical Center Location: Main Campus Address: 5301 S. Congress Avenue Unit: 3 South (61013) Building: General Information Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds : 36 · Patient Ratios : 4-6:1 · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 unit secretary and 3-4 PCAs · Type of equipment : Vitals machines, heart monitors, chest tubes, LVADs, dopplers, temporary pacers · Documentation system: Meditech · Scheduling requirements: 3 12-hour shifts, every other weekend · Floating policy: Travelers float first but in turn with each other · Patient Experience requirements: Hourly safety rounds, bedside shift report, sit and speak with patients about their care. Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Post open heart stepdown recovery, s/p cath and EP procedures, BIPAP, and high flow oxygen.
