Position Overview

Transcend Mental Health & Wellness, LLC is searching for dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will be integral to delivering comprehensive mental health support and therapy to individuals, couples, and families, focusing on fostering healthier relationships and promoting mental wellness.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct assessments to understand the individual and relational dynamics affecting clients' mental health.
  • Provide therapy sessions for couples, individuals, and families, adapting therapeutic techniques to fit their unique needs.
  • Guide clients in navigating life’s challenges, including grief and loss, job-related stress, family conflicts, and issues related to blended families.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans aimed at improving clients' emotional well-being.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and stay current with developments in the field to deliver high-quality care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of each session in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on a diverse patient demographic, ranging from adolescents to adults, including families facing complex relational issues. You will address a variety of concerns, including but not limited to:

  • Substance abuse and addiction issues.
  • Emotional and psychological trauma, including physical and psychological abuse.
  • Conflict resolution among family members and siblings.
  • Support for those navigating separation, divorce, or blended family dynamics.
  • Facilitating improved communication strategies within family units.
  • Adjustment difficulties related to life changes or transitions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • A valid and active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic alliances.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience will be considered advantageous:

  • Prior experience in a community health clinic setting.
  • Experience with telehealth services or virtual therapy modalities.
  • A background in working with diverse populations and presenting issues.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
