RN Cardiac Cath Lab Supervisor: Lead & Mentor Team

Job Summary and Qualifications As a Supervisor Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing. Position Details The Supervisor will assist the manager with day‑to‑day operations of the department. Supervises and manages department functions to maintain hospital objectives and provide a high level of service to patients. Directly supervises staff and provides clinical expertise to these staff members. Functions clinically in the cath lab at a superior level and mentors staff. Assists with the interviewing process, performance evaluations, employee disciplinary process, departmental orientation, initial and ongoing competency assessments, and other employee‑related duties as assigned. Represents the hospital and department at a professional level to all audiences, both internal and external. Maintains professional standards and seeks professional growth. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support. (RN) Registered Nurse, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist. Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree. 1 year required experience.
