Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse (RN) in West Chester, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing specialized care for critically ill or premature newborns in a Level 3 NICU setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours

• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS); Education Requirement: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); 2-3 years of Level 3 NICU experience minimum; valid license in Pennsylvania.
• Preferred Qualifications: Positive attitude, initiative, dependable, flexible, empathetic, strong clinical skills, and ability to accept feedback.
• Additional Information: The role involves Level 3 care including use of CPAP, ventilators, and UVC lines. Responsible for supporting delivery room when needed and providing developmental care. The unit has approximately 14 licensed beds with a census currently much higher, caring for babies at 22+ weeks. When census decreases, nurses may be reassigned to general pediatrics or maternity units. No surgical patients are included.
• Requirements: File must be completed entirely for clearance; deadline is the Wednesday prior to start.
