Registered Nurse (RN) Recovery Room-PACU-Days

Work Shift Day shift: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation) using evidence-based practice. Use analytical and critical thinking to ensure individualized patient care and coordinate care through effective partnerships. Provide relationship‑based patient‑centered care adapted to population‑specific characteristics (age, gender, disease, etc.) and cultural diversity. Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate methods for setting and purpose (bedside shift report, interdisciplinary rounds, just‑in‑time and planned patient teaching). Implement current clinical practice standards. Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care that promotes a professional care delivery model. Complete timely documentation, promote respectful and inclusive clinical environments, and practice fiscal responsibility. Participate in performance improvement and shared governance at all levels. Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and required mandatory education. Serve as preceptor or mentor for other professional nurses and staff, modeling professional nursing practice. Promote evidence‑based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement. Participate in data collection and use evidence to address practice questions. Plan for patient care across the continuum, develop protocols and procedures, and support efficient use of human and material resources. Required Minimum Education Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing. Diploma from an accredited nursing program, or graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing. Required Minimum Experience Minimum five years of direct patient care nursing experience. Required Minimum Skills and Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) – Instructor. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Instructor or Provisional. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Instructor or Provisional. Regulated RN (Single State) or RN – Multi‑state Compact. #J-18808-Ljbffr
