COMMERCIAL PAINTING PROJECT MANAGER / SUPERINTENDENT WANTED.

We’re looking for a unique person who’ll be the glue that holds our hard-working field staff of painters and carpenters together.

 

BEST FIT FOR

 

· Someone with painting and construction skills and enjoys working with their hands.

· Someone who knows how to work with a wide range of tools within painting and construction trades.

· Excellent people skills with previous supervisory and/or management skills.

· Organized.

· Someone who likes to drive.

 

THE PROFESSIONAL SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

· Supervisory experience in painting and or construction related industry.

· Bilingual - English and Spanish speaking a must.

· Identify and provide Solutions to job related issues and deficiencies and report back to Project Manager. A Problem Solver.

· A natural Strategist , who can Plan and envision the steps that need to be made to keep everything organized and on track.

· Represent themself well under pressure.

· Organized individual with the ability to Multitask and yet correctly Prioritize .

· Effective Verbal and Written communications.

· Must be primarily prewired as an Optimistic person as we are a small team.

· Self-manage schedule with minimal supervision. Efficient and Independent .

· Must be in strong healthy physical condition and able to carry/ lift / load 55 lbs. > .

· Have an excellent driving record and reliable transportation. Must travel back and forth to our local and semi-local job locations. We also have a company van for materials pick up and drop offs.

 

PAY AND BENEFITS.
• Anticipating range of $35- $40.00 per hour depending on experience.
• Plus, paid vacation days and annual performance bonus.
• Full Time. Monday through Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm.
• Training in Asana ® task management software.
• Mileage reimbursement for all work travel.
• Supportive owner and management style.

EXAMPLE OF RESPONSIBILITIES.
• Supervise Foremen (5-6 crews). Monitor their project progress and inspect workmanship to ensure quality and job specifications.
• Perform unique, smaller painting related requests when required.
• Collaborate with our Project Manager, and communicate job assignments, job details and schedules to Foremen.
• Perform duties related to running a project from start to finish. This includes but is not limited to preparing job sites for storage containers and potty, ordering materials, delivering equipment, materials and tools to and from jobs. At completion of job, clear items out from rented storage container.
• Collect job site trash and materials to dispose of or recycle.
• Handle equipment repairs (power washer, spray rig or ladder). Purchase and maintain tools and equipment.
• Communicate with sub-contractors related to project needs.
• Prepare and participate in weekly staff meetings.
• Represent our company on sight at job walks.
