Fractional CMO / Head of Marketing (Co-Founder option)

About the Role

You'll lead all marketing strategy and execution for a two-sided marketplace connecting fractional C-suite executives with companies across Europe. This is a fractional or co-founder opportunity to build the brand and growth engine for a category-defining business in the emerging fractional leadership space. You'll own positioning, demand generation, supply recruitment, and community building from day one.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute go-to-market strategy and positioning that resonates with both companies seeking fractional talent and senior leaders exploring this career model.
• Build thought leadership and credibility around fractional CxO work as a legitimate, scalable alternative to traditional employment.
• Acquire and onboard companies (demand side) to the platform through targeted outreach and conversion strategies.
• Recruit and onboard senior leaders (supply side) who view fractional engagement as their preferred working model.
• Drive growth through word-of-mouth, community building, and trust-based marketing approaches.
• Plan and oversee marketing channels, content strategy, and community activities that support both sides of the marketplace.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience building go-to-market strategies and executing them for B2B platforms, marketplaces, or category-defining businesses.
• Track record of demand generation and user acquisition in two-sided or network-effect businesses.
• Strong understanding of positioning, brand strategy, and thought leadership development.
• Experience building communities and leveraging word-of-mouth as a core growth lever.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to wear multiple hats in an early-stage environment.
• Familiarity with the European market and professional services landscape is a plus.
