Employment Defense Associate - Miami, FL – $150k Base + Performance-Based Bonus

Location/Schedule: Miami, FL – Fully Remote

Base Salary: $150,000, plus performance-based bonus potential

Practice: 100% Management-Side Labor and Employment Litigation

The Role:

\n

\n
• Defend employers in state and federal employment litigation.
\n
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and discovery responses.
\n
• Take and defend depositions.
\n
• Develop case strategy and assess litigation risk.
\n
• Represent clients in wage-and-hour and discrimination matters.
\n
• Communicate directly with employer clients.
\n
• Work closely with experienced labor and employment partners.
\n

Core Requirements:

\n

\n
• Active Florida Bar admission.
\n
• Approximately 3–5 years of employment defense experience.
\n
• Experience representing employers and companies.
\n
• Strong legal writing, analytical and communication skills.
\n
• Outgoing and confident client-facing personality.
\n
• Wage-and-hour experience is preferred.
\n
• Willingness to work primarily from the Miami office.
\n
