You'll manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, collaborating closely with educators, families, and other professionals to assess, plan, and implement individualized OT interventions. Your expertise will be vital in fostering student growth and participation across various settings within the school.


Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current California state OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Proficiency in designing and delivering therapy within an educational setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in groups
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate OT strategies into the classroom
• Document progress and participate in IEP meetings, maintaining compliance with all regulations
• Engage families and caregivers, providing strategies to support student progress at home
