Retail Banker I - Mamaroneck (Bilingual Spanish Preferred)

Location Mamaroneck, New York, United States of America Hours 40 hours per week. Compensation $24.25 - $32.50 USD per hour. Overview Retail Banker I is a customer liaison who delivers TD’s Brand promise through financial expertise and consultative advice to help customers with their banking solutions and needs. The role supports business growth by identifying appropriate TD solutions that help customers achieve financial goals and optimize their relationship with TD. Responsibilities Establish and nurture customer relationships by displaying product knowledge, actively listening to customer needs, and engaging in additional conversation to identify further opportunities. Make product recommendations based on customer needs and highlight product features and benefits that support customers during life events. Utilize customer relationship management tools to proactively assess customer needs, identify solutions, and conduct lead‑focused outbound sales activities. Resolve customer issues independently, escalating when necessary. Participate in customer outreach, servicing, and advice activities to deliver on TD’s human promise. Engage customers about loan products and facilitate application intake. Maintain an active NMLS registration status. Perform teller transactions (check cashing, deposits, transfers, withdrawals) while monitoring fraud mitigation and adhering to operational policies and procedures. Assist in ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, BSA, and internal policies. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 1+ years of experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity (or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, military experience). Teller experience preferred. Ability to complete teller training upon hire. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills and ability to be concise, clear, and consistent. Demonstrated organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to schedule, prioritize work, work independently, and meet deadlines. Sound judgment and effective problem‑solving skills. Notary license preferred. Active NMLS registration required. Requirements Background check and credit report check results are required.
