Usual hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday, with some OT, including weekends. During harvest you can expect lots of OT with 12-14 hour days. Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs Material Handled: Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc; liquid bulk fertilizer Check out a video about a Day in the Life of our Elevator Operators! Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks. Requirements to be successful in this position: Able to travel to Scott City and Healy KS to assist with train loading and other projects, as needed.
