Many of the world's largest financial services institutions have also adopted Chainlink's standards and infrastructure, including Swift, Euroclear, Mastercard, Fidelity International, UBS, S&P Dow Jones Indices, FTSE Russell, WisdomTree, ANZ, and top protocols such as Aave, Lido, GMX and many others.

The Engineering Manager for Data Feeds will lead a critical area of the engineering organization responsible for one of Chainlink's flagship products. This role combines technical leadership, engineering judgment, and people leadership to ensure the team delivers high-quality, reliable infrastructure while balancing delivery, technical quality, and long-term maintainability.

Working closely with Product, Technical Leads, and peer Engineering Managers, you will enable the delivery of complex distributed systems that underpin decentralized applications and financial markets, while fostering an engineering culture grounded in technical excellence, operational rigor, and continuous improvement.

Data Feeds is one of Chainlink's foundational products, providing trusted, high-quality data that powers decentralized applications across the blockchain ecosystem. The team is responsible for operating and evolving critical infrastructure that supports some of the industry's most widely used decentralized finance protocols.

Your Impact

• Lead an engineering team responsible for delivering reliable, scalable infrastructure supporting the Data Feeds product.

• Establish clear engineering ownership, enabling teams to execute predictably while maintaining high standards of technical quality and operational excellence.

• Partner with Product and technical leadership to translate strategic priorities into well-executed engineering roadmaps.

• Provide engineering judgment to support the team in making sound architectural and operational decisions while balancing delivery, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

• Coach and develop senior engineers and technical leads, expanding leadership capacity across the organization.

• Drive improvements to engineering planning, prioritization, and execution while reducing unnecessary coordination overhead.

• Champion operational excellence by maintaining and improving the reliability and health of customer-facing production services.

• Foster collaboration across engineering teams to solve complex distributed systems challenges and support continued product evolution.

Required Skills

• Deep experience building and operating production blockchain infrastructure at scale.

• Demonstrated technical leadership and engineering judgment with the credibility to influence architectural decisions and earn the trust of senior engineers.

• Strong engineering judgment, balancing product delivery, technical quality, operational reliability, and long-term system health.

• Proven experience leading engineering execution through effective planning, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience building and operating highly available, customer-facing production infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of blockchain or oracle infrastructure, backend platform architecture, and operational best practices.

• Experience leading, coaching, and developing experienced software engineers and technical leaders.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across engineering and product organizations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience partnering closely with Product organizations to deliver complex technical roadmaps.

• Familiarity with financial markets, trading infrastructure, market data systems, or other mission-critical financial technology.

• Experience applying AI tools and workflows to improve engineering productivity and software delivery.

• Experience with decentralized infrastructure supporting Web3 ecosystems.
