Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Adult Medical-Surgical / Surgical Unit

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin

Facility: Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center - Janesville

Job Type: 13-Week Travel Contract

Shift: Nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week

Pay Rate: $61-$66/hour

MTK Healthcare Inc. is seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Adult Medical-Surgical/Surgical Unit at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville, WI. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment using the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, hospital policies, and state nursing regulations.
Monitor, assess, and accurately document patient conditions.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Utilize critical thinking skills to promote patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately.
Participate in quality improvement and shared governance initiatives.

Requirements

Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Current BLS/CPR Certification.
Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification.
Education verification required.
Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred.
Experience with EPIC EMR is a plus.
Must be available to work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as required.
