Job Title

Glass Technician

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

Two years of glass experience

Valid Mississippi motor vehicle operator's license

Must be insurable by district insurance carrier

Applicant must submit to and pass drug screening test as outlined by district policy

Reports To

Supervisor of Carpentry

Job Goal

To insure that all facilities are constructed and maintained in a manner consistent with the highest standard of efficiency, safety, economy, and quality

Essential Functions

Assists in the replacement of glass

Assists in caulking and glazing windows

Assists in repairing and replacing glass sky lights

Assists in replacing large pieces of glass

Performs other duties as requested or assigned

Evaluation

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of personnel.

Days Employed: 241 per school year

Hourly Rate: $15.50

Overtime: Non-exempt
