Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified CT Technologist for a position based in Palo Alto, California. This role involves competently performing routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to deliver accurate results efficiently, while maintaining patient safety and adhering to all relevant regulations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours shift, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified as ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT), Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R), BLS certification, valid California radiation license, and California fluoroscopy license. Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT procedures.
• Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, CA radiation license, CA fluoroscopy license
• Skills: Adult outpatient procedures, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, use of GE equipment, calcium scoring, coronary angiography, management/lead experience, contrast media administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV placement, vascular chest imaging (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), vascular CTA, venipuncture
• Additional Information:
  • Experience with CTA, Calcium scores, and structural CTs is a must
  • Possible weekend shifts as needed
  • Work independently with attention to patient assessment, monitoring, and communication
  • Adhere to all local/state/federal safety and privacy regulations
  • May assist with orientation of staff or perform specific procedures
