Position Overview Marina Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. Work Environment This role will primarily be executed in a remote work setting, providing flexibility while maintaining a deeply collaborative environment with healthcare professionals. Although work will be conducted online, you will be interfacing with both clients and team members to foster a supportive and effective treatment dynamic. Key Responsibilities Deliver therapeutic services directly to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to address symptoms of mental illness and emotional disturbances. Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to strategize on best practices and contribute to team goals, ensuring a unified approach to client care. Conduct comprehensive assessments using both standardized tools and clinical judgment to develop integrated care plans tailored to individual client needs. Facilitate or arrange for more intensive evaluations or specialized treatments as required, ensuring continuity of care. Implement brief, effective treatment modalities and psychoeducation sessions for clients, adapting to diverse cultural backgrounds and unique client requirements. Monitor and document client progress, managing case files with accuracy and compliance with ethical standards. Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies to help clients stabilize and access necessary services. Collaborate closely with educational stakeholders to ensure students receive appropriate support and services within the school setting. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work primarily with children and adolescents, addressing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns. You'll engage with school-aged clients and their families, participating in their journey toward emotional and psychological stability. Your focus will be on empowering these individuals to navigate their challenges, promoting resilience, and emotional health. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Social Work and a current state license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory. At least two years of relevant experience working in a mental health or school setting, demonstrating proficiency in clinical interventions. Exceptional communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues across diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of ethical guidelines and a commitment to maintaining professional conduct in interactions with clients and team members. Ability to understand and work within administrative and funding structures relevant to social work practice. Preferred Experience Experience working with children in an educational environment is highly preferred, along with familiarity in providing support within a school system. Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate remote therapy sessions. Experience with specialized therapeutic interventions or training in trauma-informed care is a plus. Compensation and Benefits The yearly salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience.
