Senior Product Management Consultant

Summary: We have an exciting opportunity with one of our clients located in Irvine, CA (Hybrid). Responsibilities:
- Lead product discovery and roadmap development.
- Own product backlog, sprint planning, and delivery execution.
- Drive data governance and metadata management initiatives.
- Partner with business, engineering, governance, and executive stakeholders.
- Create executive presentations, recommendations, and product strategies.
- Apply AI tools to improve product analysis, documentation, and delivery efficiency.
- 15 years of Product Management experience.
- Strong background in product discovery, roadmap planning, backlog management, and Agile delivery.
- Experience with Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design methodologies.
- Product ownership experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality, Data Lineage, or Data Catalog platforms.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Collibra, Alation, Informatica, dbt, or similar platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience conducting buy-vs-build evaluations and vendor assessments.
- Experience leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools in product management workflows.
- Financial Services or regulated industry experience.
- Knowledge of compliance, audit, privacy, and data retention requirements.
