Materials Kitting & Inventory Control Specialist
Join PDS Tech Commercial in partnership with an industry leader in Richardson, TX, and spend your day moving work forward—not sitting behind a desk. You will be part of a close-knit team that builds excellence one part, one kit, and one shipment at a time.
A day in this roleStart your shift (first or second) with a quick team huddle. You will receive inbound materials, verify counts, and move items to the right production or shipping location. As the day unfolds, you will rotate stock, confirm part identification, and track shelf life to keep everything flowing smoothly. You will sort and inspect returns, validate warranty status, log accurate inventory transactions, and then prepare, configure, and securely package upgrade kits for delivery—all while using basic computer tools to document your work.
Pay and schedule- Pay: $19/hr (1st shift) | $20.90/hr (2nd shift)
- Shifts (Mon–Thurs):
- 1st: 5:00am – 3:30pm
- 2nd: 4:00pm – 2:30am

- Receive, count, stock, and move raw materials to production and shipping
- Ensure accurate counts, packaging quality, stock rotation, part ID, and shelf-life checks
- Sort and inspect returned material; validate warranty eligibility
- Record precise inventory transactions for all receipts and deliveries
- Prepare, configure, and package upgrade kits for on-time delivery
- 6–12+ months of material handling experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (verification required)
- Comfort with basic computer use for tracking and instruction following
- Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
- Ability to stand, handle materials, and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting
Background checks, including criminal history verification, and drug screening will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
