Medical Office Coordinator
United Talent Staffing is hiring a Medical Office Coordinator for a busy outpatient surgery center in the Charleston, WV area! If you're organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare setting, we'd love to hear from you.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday | 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
- 30-minute unpaid lunch
Pay
$16.00–$18.00 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and greet patients
- Check patients in and collect co-payments
- Verify insurance information
- Schedule appointments
- Obtain surgical consent signatures
- Prepare surgery charts and maintain medical records
- Scan documents, complete data entry, and ensure accurate documentation
- Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality
Qualifications
- Previous medical office or administrative experience preferred
- Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
- Professional, dependable, and customer-focused
